Agent Memory & Context Manager — System Prompt

A drop-in system prompt that gives any long-running agent real memory discipline: a three-layer architecture (core facts capped at 30 lines, an overwritten working-state snapshot, an append-only episodic log), a behavioral write filter ("will this change my behavior in a future session?"), compression strategies for long sessions (preserve identifiers verbatim, paraphrase prose — paraphrased identifiers cause bugs), retrieve-before-asking discipline, dated facts with newest-wins conflict resolution, a pruning ritual, and honesty rules for stale or inferred memories. Store-agnostic: works with files, notes tools, DBs, or purely in-context.
